BeeJewelled’s necklace ranges are named after those influential and important women we have looked up to throughout history.
Annie Oakley was born in 1860 in Ohio and she taught herself to shoot animals, by the age of 15 she had sold enough of them to pay for her family’s farm. Soon her ability to shoot a gun became well known in her town. When she was 16 she was invited to a shooting contest with a famous marksman named Frank Butler. Frank Butler claimed that he could shoot better than anyone else, but Annie surprised everyone when she won the competition. She and Frank later married and joined Buffalo Bill’s Wild West travelling show, where she was the star. She even met famous Native American chief Sitting Bull, who named her Little Sure Shot and called her friend. Wow!
I ain’t afraid to love a man.
I ain’t afraid to shoot him either.
All metal findings, chains, clasps and earring hooks are the finest 925 Sterling silver, sourced from the UK. Unless stated otherwise.
Due to the nature of handmade, your jewellery may be slightly different to that in the images, however the essential design will be the same.
The materials I use are entirely natural, with differing shapes, sizes and colours. Some may have small natural inclusions or be more segmented with patches of differing hues, meaning that each is beautifully unique.
Don’t forget that in buying from BeeJewelled not only are you getting a one-of-a-kind piece of jewellery made with care and attention by hand, but you are also helping to save the bees and, in turn, our Earth! Thank you.
