Lovely blue Lapis Lazuli pendant necklace.  This is available in two slightly different styles; one has small round beads of Lapis, and the other features chips of Lapis.  Both are the stunning deep blue colour so typical of Lapis Lazuli.  The coordinating Lapis pendant is a smooth polished teardrop and the natural veins of the stone are clearly visible.  It hangs from a sweet Tibetan silver connector.

This necklace comes in two different styles, and I only have one of each available:

Gemstone chips – this necklace is on a single strand silver tone chain approx 18″ / 45cm long with a magnetic clasp.  It has a flower connector.

Round beads – this necklace is on a double strand silver tone chain approx 20″ / 50cm long with a toggle clasp.  It has a swirl connector.

Silver tone findings and clasp.

Birthstone: Lapis Lazuli – Virgo or Capricorn

Good for: alleviating depression, easing stress, soothing anxiety, natural healing, helping beat insomnia

CollectionJoan of Arc

BeeJewelled’s necklace ranges are named after those influential and important women we have looked up to throughout history.

Born around 1412, Jeanne d’Arc is considered a heroine of France for her role during the Lancastrian phase of the Hundred Years’ War.  With no military training, Joan convinced the embattled crown prince Charles of Valois to allow her to lead a French army to the besieged city of Orléans.  Her army achieved a momentous victory.  After seeing the prince crowned King Charles VII, Joan was captured by Anglo-Burgundian forces.  She was tried for witchcraft and heresy, found guilty, and burned at the stake in 1431.  She was just 19.

By the time she was officially canonized in 1920, the Maid of Orléans (as she was known) had long been considered one of history’s greatest saints, and an enduring symbol of French unity and nationalism.  Not bad for the peasant daughter of a tenant farmer!

I am not afraid.  I was born to do this.
